When it comes to an accurate quote, I must base each web development project based on each clients needs. For example, often custom graphics, backgrounds and even logo development must be added to the web design project depending on each clients existing corporate identity. As a web designer and marketing professional I do my best to create a web presence that compliments each companies profile with the look and feel they wish to present to their target audience, as well as work very closely with each client and take the time to personally study and understand their products, services, customers and target audience in order to design and market them as successfully as possible.

Full e-commerce web sites - $2000 to $10,000 and up

Pricing naturally will depend on how much e-commerce your site will require. If your site will only require single item, single price structure items naturally the cost would be significantly lower than one with many different types of products, price breaks and multiple choices. Other factors include images - for instance, will I be responsible for your product images or will you be supplying them to me?
Why the possible high price tag? The shopping cart systems I build are actually server side applications that I engineer from the ground up to suit whatever your needs might be. While most shopping cart systems are stand alone, coded or "canned" scripts, mine are far different. Most include a user interface to allow you or your staff to easily modify, adjust pricing, add and remove items along with other special features with no web development or HTML knowledge required. If you can type and press a button or two, you can operate these systems. I recommend this type of e-commerce system, as quite possibly it could be the last web site you ever have to invest in.

Products and Services web sites - $1000 to $3000 and up
|

Naturally the cost of developing your products and services web site will depend on content. Product images, information and any special features such as video, animation, product demos, download sections and more will all need to be discussed. I do my best to work very closely with each client and take the time to personally study and understand their products and services as well as their customers and target audience in order to design and market each company as successfully as possible.

Basic, informational web sites - $500 to $850 (custom features additional)
|
Basic, informational sites include 3 to 10 pages of your company information and a contact form. Basic sites are simple, straight forward "Internet Brochures" or your corporate identity on the web that allow you to advertise your company on the net with minimal expense and overhead. A basic site can add a larger market to your customer base as you will see visitors finding your company through search engines and other sources you can take advantage of to market your business effectively.
Custom features can be added to any web site I design that will allow you to modify the web site content and run specials, sales, make announcements and keep your site fresh and current for your customers.

"Do it yourself" web sites - $500 and up
|
|
I can design your basic web site with contact form, and simply turn it over to you blank and ready to go with an easy to use interface. You may then begin adding content and information using a special administration area. If you can type and use an online form, you can manage the content of your do it yourself web site.

In order to retain our services and begin the development of your web site we require 100% payment up front for sites $750 and less, and a minimum 50% deposit for sites exceeding $750. Once the development of your site is underway, portions of the balance are due in 15 day increments, or the full 50% balance is due upon completion whichever comes first.
Upon completion of your web site we will need to take care of hosting fees and any domain name purchases or transfers. We can assist you and bill you for these services or you may work directly with each service provider. These services generally run $150 to $250 dollars.
We reserve the right to "recycle" your design, layout and site structure for other potential clients, and retain copyright to them should this agreement be broken before completion of your web site. Completed designs and layouts become the soul property and copyright of the client including custom graphics, images and photography. Generic images do not apply.
Should you decide against continuing with your development project you are entitled to your refund, minus $85 per hour for any design and development work that has been completed.

From the quotation and initial start of each project phone consultation and discussion is free. You will have my cell phone number for emergencies. The BEST way to contact me is through email. There are several reasons for this:
- I can respond to 100 emails in a day in just a few minutes, phone calls tend to get long and interfere with productive working hours.
- I will have a record of your request, needs, questions or comments.
- I can schedule and address your needs in an efficient manner.
- I am online all day, almost every day. I can respond to your email and address your needs quickly and efficiently, never leaving the keyboard.
- If I am out of the office I can likely address any emergencies or requests using my Pocket PC and a wireless connection.
Effective 2006 there will be an $85 per hour, NON-EMERGENCY phone consultation fee during the following hours:
- On ANY Sunday.
- Anytime between the hours of 7:30pm to 8:00am Monday through Saturday.
- On ANY National Holiday.
- During ANY NFL Football game or weekend NASCAR or IRL race.

Truth be told I am normally working weekends and Holidays. The Internet runs all year - night and day - regardless of what the rest of the world is doing. As a dedicated Webmaster I simply must work while others enjoy time off. From time to time however, the oportunity presents itself for me to take time for family, friends and relationships. It is during these times that I appreciate the concept of leaving the computer for lifes normal pleasures.
